Product Certification Programs (ISO/IEC 17065)
IAB provides accreditation in accordance with ISO/IEC 17065 for product certification programs to ensure that the marketplace can gain confidence for their activities. The program is overseen by the IAB Certification Accreditation Committee (CAC). The responsibilities of the committee include approving the key policy documents, reviewing the process of evaluation, accreditation decisions, and monitoring/auditing programs.

Accreditation Requirements
Product Certification Bodies are assessed against the general criteria contained within ISO/IEC 17065:2012 Requirements for Bodies Certifying Products, Processes and Services.
